Bouygues Immobilier develops residential, office, retail and sustainable neighbourhood projects in France, elsewhere in Europe and Morocco. In 2014, Bouygues Immobilier consolidated its position as an urban developer/operator.
Innovation for sustainable development
Having undertaken an ambitious sustainable development policy since 2006, Bouygues Immobilier has now become a benchmark player in the field. Stimulated by the demands of the Grenelle environmental summit agreements and the challenges of the city of tomorrow, innovation is the focus of this approach.
As early as 2007 Bouygues Immobilier committed to ‘Habitat & Environnement’ certification of all its housing programmes. And since July 2010, with more than two and a half years advance, all of Bouygues Immobilier’s new programmes are designed as ‘BBC’ low-energy buildings, with systematic application for the BBC-effinergie® label. With average primary-energy consumption of 50 kWh/m²/year, these BBC low-energy buildings consume threes times less energy than buildings that are only slightly older.
