A modern and ambitious architectural project
The Sainte-Croix property development project, which is the work of architectural firm Valode et Pistre, has been leased by the Clarins Group. Construction started in November 2011 and is due to be completed in 2014.
With its distinctive smooth cladding-glass façade, the Sainte Croix building will immediately stand out from the other buildings along the road between Paris and Neuilly-sur-Seine. On the inside, the layout has been designed to optimise the comfort and productivity of employees who will also be able to enjoy the cool garden located at the centre of the building.
A building that complies with environmental considerations
The Sainte Croix office building is part of an ambitious environmental programme. It will certified against the standards of the ‘NF Bâtiments Tertiaires - Démarche HQE®’ label. Due in large part to use of renewable energy sources, Sainte Croix attains a degree of energy efficiency consistent with the BBC-Effinergie® label and the ‘Good’ level under the British BREEAM® International certification.
Energy saving innovations
The building incorporates many technologies that help reduce its energy consumption.
- A breathing façade with automatic blinds.
- Photovoltaic panels on the roof.
- Heating and air conditioning by means of 4-pipe chilled beams.
- Air-handling units are equipped with an energy recovery system.
- The level of lighting varies automatically in accordance with the amount of daylight and occupation of the premises.
Located in the 17tharrondissement of Paris, the Sainte Croix building will be part of a dynamic district at the edge of the capital and Neuilly-sur-Seine. It will be no more than a few minutes from all amenities, from the metro (line No.1), and the Paris ring road. The nearby Jardin d'Acclimatation, park adds a dash of greenery to the immediate neighbourhood.
