Fostering diversity in the company, ensuring harmonious labour relations, providing training and ensuring workplace safety for all: these are the focus of Bouygues Immobilier’s action to enhance and develop the potential of all its employees in the best possible working conditions.
THE TOP EMPLOYERS FRANCE LABEL
For the second year in succession, Bouygues Immobilier was awarded Top Employers France certification, endorsing its HR policies and its commitment to being a responsible and learning company with an innovative approach to workforce relations. Bouygues Immobilier is the first property developer to obtain certification, enhancing the company's image as the benchmark employer on the market.
In September 2014, Bouygues Immobilier entered the Happy Trainees ranking, a distinction which recognises the support extended to trainees. 97.5% of the students who responded to the survey said they would recommend Bouygues Immobilier.
OUR HR STRATEGY: INTEGRATION AND MOBILITY
The company also takes an innovative approach to integration. Each new recruit is offered an induction course based on a set of training modules. A
Serious Game Session® puts them in the place of a property development project manager who has to keep customers satisfied. They are also mentored by a more experienced colleague to help them understand the company's values and codes. At the end of the process, an integration review is carried out for each employee under 27 years of age.
At a time when the workforce is not growing, Bouygues Immobilier encourages mobility among employees (a change of job or geographical location) in order to open up their prospects for promotion. Support measures include training before the move and help with finding a job for spouses or partners
INVESTMENT IN TRAINING
Keen to develop long-term talent management, Bouygues Immobilier has continued to invest in training linked to the company's strategic priorities. This is reflected, for example, in courses in working in project mode, the production of a responsible leadership scorecard and a partnership with Solvay Business School to promote more collaborative working methods.
In 2014, Bouygues Immobilier also reasserted its commitment to being a responsible employer by providing Respect and Performance training for managers and carrying out an employee perception survey.
As part of its action to promote diversity, the company offers parenting support and support for older workers while continuing to raise awareness of disability and integrate people with disabilities.
YOUNG PEOPLE FOR A NEW CONCEPT OF URBAN LIVING
Bouygues Immobilier's Campus Day was a fine example of the company's commitment to young people. On Friday, 13 June 2014, a hundred or so trainees and young people on work/study courses came together for a day to learn about what Bouygues Immobilier does.
The event included meetings with campus and HR managers, visits to worksites to find out more about how the property development business works and a competition with the theme "Co-create the urban concept of the future", the aim being to incorporate architecture, energy efficiency and well-being into thinking about the city of the future.
